The joys of being lost (open)

[Wing Sung]

Wing is sitting on a bench in what seems to be the local rest area, looking at her Mirage Dragon card. She really should be in the Neutral Territory getting ready, but since she got on the wrong train, she ended up in Turkey instead. The place looks like a nice place to visit, but it's too bad that it's Green Rose territory. Wing highly dislike the Green Rose due to her thinking that their policy makes no sense. Initiating battles to achieve peace makes as much sense to her as eating sugar to lower your sugar intake.

Still looking at the Mirage Dragon as if she is possessed, she started to wonder if she is fated to be here. And if she was, does that mean that something will happen here soon? Deciding that time shall answer that question for her eventually, she returned her attention to her monster.

"Hallo," said a cloaked man who approached Wing. His hood was down, leaving his long black hair, golden eyes, pale skin, and smooth smiling face exposed to the young White Rose member. "Wei geht es dir?" her asked in his native tongue of German.

Her appearance however had him translate what he said afterwards, since he was now assuming that she didn't understand German. "How are you?" he asked again, his accent noticeable.

Wing recognized the language that the male spoke as German, and she loved the sound of that language even though she has no clue what he just said until he translated. Still, the greeting by the cloaked man is not enough to break the trance that she was under when she looked at her card. Looking at him with a relatively blank expression, she answered, "Hello, and not too good, but not too bad either, so cannot complain. You?"

"I am doing as goot as can be hoped for in this territory," he answered her. "I'm Augustus Faustus," he introduced, moving his right arm over his midsection and bowing. "It is a pleasure to meet you Frau..." he let it hang, showing his interest in learning her name as well. He stood back up straight.

[Wing Sung]

Right now, she wasn't feeling creative enough to voice her name in the form of a riddle, so Wing just replied, "Wing, nice to meet you as well." Glancing at him, she decided to ask, "What, may I ask, are you doing in this territory then if you are not of the green rose?"

"Just visiting," he answered vaguely. "And what about you? You don't seem like a Green Rose to me? Are you Red, Blue, or White?" he asked her politely. Deciding it would be best to earn her trust to get her to answer honestly, he said, "I am a White Rose."

[Wing Sung]

Since he has declared his rose affiliation, added with the fact that he is a part of her rose color, Wing decided to answer honestly as well. "White Rose for me as well, and I am here because I took the wrong train to the tournament."

"Oh so you are participating in the tournament as well? What an interesting coincidence, Frau Wing," he stated. "I am in the tournament as well." He then took the seat on the bench next to her. "Not sure if zis is a goot thing or a bad thing," he confessed. "After all only one of us can win it."

[Wing Sung]

Glancing back at her monster, Wing shrugged and replied, "I am not really looking to win it though, just going due to the fact that our leader said that I need to be more in touch with my deck for future purposes." Looking back at Augustus, she added, "Although winning it wouldn't be a bad thing, per say."

Augustus nodded in agreement. "Zat it would. I would like an Il Blud actually, and zis tournament is my chance. Might even manage to make a name for our group unt I think zat we could use all ze help we could get." It was no secret that the White Roses had so little territory, but Augustus Faustus believed he could help expand it.

[Wing Sung]

"It would, wouldn't it? More territories would be much easier for our leader to lead an attack too." Wing nodded in agreement, and asked him the following even though she knows the answer already, "Il Blud, huh? Zombie deck?"

He nodded. "But not just any Zombie Deck; this one has several simple One turn kills built into it, unt all of zem are easy to set up; only need four cards for zem. If only I had Synchro monsters zough. I wouldn't need to use such tactics if I had zose cards in my side deck."

[Wing Sung]

"Sounds lethal." Wing replied casually, "So, if will be an even better deck if you have Synchro monsters?" Thinking for a while, she added, "How does it work, exactly?" The more strategies she learn, the better it would help with her dueling. Not that she care too much about winning or losing, but getting better is still one of her goals.

"Endless loops," he told her, taking out 2 Zombie Masters, Card of Safe Return, Mass Driver, Plaugspreader Zombie, and Imperial Iron Wall. He also took out a Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower. "Card of Safe Return and Mass Driver are needed for both. With two Zombie Masters, I can release one for my Mass Driver and zen revive it with my other one. I'd release the one zat just did ze reviving, and revive it with ze revived one, und then I release, revive, release, revive, until opponent's life points are kaput."

"Ze other needs Mass Driver and Card of Safe Return as well, only I use Plaugespreader Zombie instead, and I keep my Zombie from being removed with Imperial Iron Wall. Unt finally, I can throw in my Tower, and as my opponent's life points lower, so vill their deck, so I vould have some say in how their life points hit bottom."

[Wing Sung]

Thinking for a moment, Wing smiled and replied, "Sounds good, but getting all those on the filed could prove to be a little difficult though." Glancing at her watch, she noted that it's time to board the train to the tournament, so she asked, "Shall we get going? We don't want to miss the opening of the tournament, do we?"
